This research is based on the tendency of students to follow a lifestyle as they see through social media Instagram. The lifestyle is like a Westernized life, buying luxury goods and glamorous appearance as shown by celebgram. This phenomenon also occurs in Communication Management students STIAMI. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of the use of social media instagram on the lifestyle of Communication Management students STAMI. The method used in this study is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observations, documentation and literature studies. The results showed that instagram greatly impacts the lifestyle of Communication Management students in their daily lives. The positive impact of using instagram on the lifestyle of STIAMI Communication Management students is the ability to follow changes, know current lifestyle trends, also be able to find out the latest information/news quickly and increased knowledge about new things such as selling, holidays, entertainment, and good motivation. While the negative impact is the lack of understanding of the truth of a news story, forcing yourself to follow a lifestyle to look more cool and great, as well as being consumptive to look the same as the idolized celebgram.
