The background of this study found the phenomenon that occurs is the source of the cause of fires in residential areas due to the carelessness of the community. The existence of people who fill kerosene when the stove is on, leaving electrical household appliances that remain attached to the outlet, the high frequency of fires in densely populated settlements is also caused by an unfavorable residential environment, the presence of buildings with flammable materials. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze how Community Empowerment in the Environmental Fire Resistance system at the Office of Fire and Rescue Johar Baru sector Central Jakarta, to determine and
analyze the constraints in Community Empowerment in the Environmental Fire Resistance system at the Office of Fire and Rescue Johar Baru sector Central Jakarta, and to know and analyze efforts to overcome obstacles in Community Empowerment in Environmental Fire Resistance systems at the Johar Baru Fire and Rescue Sector office in Central Jakarta. The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. The criteria that the author makes informants (parties/interviewees) in this
study are those who master and understand the conditions of the object of study, who are involved or occupy positions related to the topic under study and have enough time to be interviewed. Based on the results of the study, it is still not optimal, but there are several strategies that become input through the knowledge and skills of the community, inviting all people in the Johar Baru sector of Central Jakarta
