The Effect Of Competence, Motivation, And Discipline On Performance Of Employees: The Case Of The General Bureau Of The Agency Of The Assessment And Application Of Technology, Jakarta


According to recent studies, employee performance significantly influences organizational performance. Most earlier studies have looked at organizational elements that might improve employee performance. However, there is a shortage of research examining the cognitive and affective personal characteristics that can improve employee performance. Because of this, this study, which is based on the organizational behavior theory, examines how competence, motivation, and discipline affect employee performance. The researcher gathered information from 36 respondents affiliated with the general bureau of the Agency of the Assessment and Application of Technology, Jakarta, using simple random selection. Regression analysis was then used in SPSS 25 to analyze the acquired data. The findings show that employee performance is highly impacted by competence. On the other hand, motivation has little effect on how well employees perform. Additionally, punishment has a significant impact on how well employees work. In light of the findings of the analysis of the research, the study also offers recommendations.
