Media Television is currently an old media that must adapt to the rapid growth of new media. Media convergence is one of the strategies that can be used by the television industry to remain competitive. The purpose of this research is to investigate the convergence of newsrooms operated by TV One, a news television industry in Indonesia, with other media affiliated with the Viva Group, including ANTV and Viva.co.id. Constructivism paradigm, qualitative research methodology, and phenomenological research techniques are used in this research. This study shows that TV One implements convergence by conducting newsroom convergence. However, TV One news editors are the only individuals involved in newsroom convergence, which is only done internally. Due to significant differences in news content between the three Viva Group media, this study concludes that TV One newsroom convergence has not resulted in full convergence. However, TV One's decision to join news television is a step to maintain its existence and provide the best service to viewers.
