The purpose of this research is to explore the impact ofrnmodernization in the tax administration system on the compliance ofrnindividual taxpayers. The research method used in this study is arndescriptive method with a qualitative approach. The technique usedrninvolveobservation, interviews, and documentation, as well as the use ofrnsecondary data sources. The informants for this study consist of fivernindividuals to measure the process of modernized service provision forrnindividual taxpayers at the Jakarta Tanjung Priok Pratama Tax ServicernOffice. The findings of this research indicate that the overallrnmodernization of the tax administration system at the Pratama TaxrnService Office in Jakarta Tanjung Priok is not considered sufficient due torna lack of socialization and education, resulting in many taxpayers notrnfully comprehending the modernized tax administration system launchedrnby DGT.
